Ranunculaceae, flowers in March/April. This clumping plant grows in the wild in Asia, where you can find them at forest edges. The finely cut leaves are bronze coloured when they emerge. Grows up to a height of 15 cm. The leaves die down in June. We offer the real fertile species instead of the often erroneously offered cultivar Adonis 'Fukujukai'.
The Alpine Snowbell. Most species aren't very easy in our gardens, but this low growing hybrid (Soldanella carpatica x pusilla) is an exception. It's very easy and after a while it forms a small mat. Flowers in March/April and grows to a height of 15 cm.
